This explains what personal data the site collects, why, how long it's kept and your rights.

01Who is responsible

The data controller for this website and shop is:

  • Ksenia Pavlova, trading as Berlakva

02What I collect and why

  • Mailing list: your email address, to send news about new pieces and drops. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Kept until you unsubscribe, which you can do from any email or at /unsubscribe.
  • Contact form and size requests: your name, email and message, to answer you. Legal basis: your request, and steps before a possible contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Kept up to 24 months after the conversation ends.
  • Reservations: your name, email, country, note and the pieces you reserved, to confirm the reservation and contact you when ordering opens. Legal basis: steps at your request before a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)). Kept until ordering opens and up to 12 months after.
  • Orders: name, email, phone (optional), shipping and billing address, the pieces ordered and, if you give it, your tax ID, to fulfil and ship the order and issue the invoice. Legal basis: the contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and tax law (Art. 6(1)(c)). Invoices and accounting records are kept for 10 years, as Italian law requires.
  • Payments: handled by Stripe. I never see or store your full card details.
  • Analytics: see "Cookies and analytics" below.

03Cookies and analytics

The site uses Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) to understand how it is used, with Google Consent Mode. Before you choose, and if you choose "Necessary only", Google Analytics sets no cookies and receives only anonymous, cookie-free signals (for example that a page was viewed), which can't identify you. With "Accept all", it also sets the cookies below. Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Art. 122 of the Italian Privacy Code). Advertising features are always off.

What the site stores in your browser:

  • berlakva:cookie-consent (stored in your browser): remembers your cookie choice. Necessary.
  • berlakva:cart (stored in your browser): the pieces in your reservation. Necessary.
  • berlakva:subscribed / subscribe-dismissed-at (stored in your browser): whether to show the mailing-list prompt again. Necessary.
  • berlakva_visitor (cookie, 30 days): only if you enter a preview password while the shop is closed. Necessary.
  • _ga, _ga_<ID> (Google Analytics cookies, up to 2 years): count visits and how the site is used. Only with your consent ("Accept all").
  • Stripe sets its own necessary cookies on its checkout pages, for payment security and fraud prevention.

You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. Switching to "Necessary only" deletes the Google Analytics cookies.

04Who else sees your data

Only the service providers needed to run the shop, each under a data processing agreement:

  • the hosting and database providers that run this site;
  • Resend, Inc. (USA), which sends the site's emails;
  • Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Ireland), for payments;
  • Google Ireland Ltd., for analytics;
  • the shipping carrier, for your name, address and phone when an order ships;
  • my accountant, for invoices.

Some of these providers may process data in the USA. Those transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. Your data is never sold.

05Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format (Arts. 15–21 GDPR). Where the basis is consent, you can withdraw it at any time; that doesn't affect what was done before. Write to studio@berlakva.com and I'll reply within one month.

You can also complain to the Italian data protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, or the authority where you live.

06Other things to know

  • Giving your data is voluntary, but without it I can't answer, confirm a reservation or ship an order.
  • No decisions about you are made automatically, and there is no profiling.
  • The site is not meant for children under 14.
  • If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.

02Quali dati raccolgo e perché

  • Newsletter: il tuo indirizzo email, per inviarti novità su nuovi capi e drop. Base giuridica: il tuo consenso (art. 6, par. 1, lett. a GDPR). Conservato fino alla disiscrizione, che puoi fare da ogni email o su /unsubscribe.
  • Modulo di contatto e richieste di taglia: nome, email e messaggio, per risponderti. Base giuridica: la tua richiesta e misure precontrattuali (art. 6, par. 1, lett. b). Conservati fino a 24 mesi dalla fine della conversazione.
  • Prenotazioni: nome, email, paese, nota e capi prenotati, per confermare la prenotazione e contattarti all'apertura degli ordini. Base giuridica: misure precontrattuali su tua richiesta (art. 6, par. 1, lett. b). Conservati fino all'apertura degli ordini e per un massimo di 12 mesi successivi.
  • Ordini: nome, email, telefono (facoltativo), indirizzo di spedizione e fatturazione, capi ordinati e, se lo fornisci, il tuo codice fiscale o partita IVA, per evadere e spedire l'ordine ed emettere la fattura. Base giuridica: il contratto (art. 6, par. 1, lett. b) e gli obblighi fiscali (art. 6, par. 1, lett. c). Fatture e scritture contabili sono conservate per 10 anni, come previsto dalla legge italiana.
  • Pagamenti: gestiti da Stripe. Non vedo né conservo mai i dati completi della tua carta.
  • Statistiche: vedi "Cookie e statistiche" qui sotto.

03Cookie e statistiche

Il sito usa Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Ltd.) per capire come viene utilizzato, con Google Consent Mode. Prima della tua scelta, e se scegli "Necessary only", Google Analytics non imposta cookie e riceve solo segnali anonimi senza cookie (ad esempio che una pagina è stata vista), che non permettono di identificarti. Con "Accept all" imposta anche i cookie elencati sotto. Base giuridica: il tuo consenso (art. 6, par. 1, lett. a GDPR e art. 122 del Codice Privacy). Le funzioni pubblicitarie sono sempre disattivate.

04Chi altro vede i tuoi dati

Solo i fornitori necessari al funzionamento del negozio, ciascuno nominato responsabile del trattamento:

  • i fornitori di hosting e database che gestiscono il sito;
  • Resend, Inc. (USA), che invia le email del sito;
  • Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. (Irlanda), per i pagamenti;
  • Google Ireland Ltd., per le statistiche;
  • il corriere, per nome, indirizzo e telefono quando un ordine viene spedito;
  • il mio commercialista, per le fatture.

Alcuni fornitori possono trattare dati negli USA. Questi trasferimenti si basano sull'EU–US Data Privacy Framework o sulle clausole contrattuali standard della Commissione europea. I tuoi dati non vengono mai venduti.

05I tuoi diritti

Puoi chiedere l'accesso, la rettifica o la cancellazione dei tuoi dati, la limitazione o l'opposizione al trattamento e la portabilità (artt. 15–21 GDPR). Se la base è il consenso, puoi revocarlo in qualsiasi momento, senza effetto su quanto avvenuto prima. Scrivi a studio@berlakva.com: rispondo entro un mese.

Puoi anche proporre reclamo al Garante per la protezione dei dati personali o all'autorità del paese in cui vivi.

06Altre informazioni

  • Fornire i dati è facoltativo, ma senza di essi non posso risponderti, confermare una prenotazione o spedire un ordine.
  • Non vengono prese decisioni automatizzate e non c'è profilazione.
  • Il sito non è destinato a minori di 14 anni.
