A fitted bodice in textured black velvet, distressed by hand until it gives way to a sheer layer underneath. Every opening is different, so skin and shadow show through in a pattern that exists only on this piece. The waist flares into a full peplum with raw, frayed edges. The back opens at the shoulders, and a single knotted closure sits at the neckline. Structured enough to hold its shape, worn enough to look like it has a history. The model is 164cm tall. Hip circumference at widest point: 95cm. Waist: 65cm. Bust: 93cm. One of one. Made by hand in Berlin. It won’t be remade.

• Care: hand wash cold, inside out. Do not wring or tumble dry. Raw edges will continue to soften and fray slightly with wear, which is intended.
